Terms and Conditions for ThistleGlow Services
Welcome to ThistleGlow Services. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our house cleaning and property care services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.
1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the residential cleaning, deep cleaning, eco-friendly cleaning solutions, carpet and upholstery cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, window washing, and move-in/move-out cleaning services provided by ThistleGlow Services.
- "Client," "You," and "Your" refer to the person or entity requesting or receiving the Service.
- "Company," "We," "Our," and "Us" refer to ThistleGlow Services.
- "Property" refers to the location where the Service is to be performed.
2. Service Agreement
By booking our Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. A booking is considered confirmed once agreed upon by both parties, either verbally, in writing, or through our online platform if applicable. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
- Scope of Work: The scope of work for each Service will be agreed upon with the Client prior to the commencement of work. Any additional tasks requested during the service, not initially agreed upon, may incur additional charges and are subject to our team's availability.
- Access to Property: The Client must ensure clear and safe access to the Property for our team at the scheduled time. If access is not provided, resulting in our inability to perform the service, a cancellation fee may apply.
- Preparation: For the most efficient and effective cleaning, we recommend that the Client declutters the areas to be cleaned prior to our arrival.
3. Pricing and Payment
Our prices for services are clearly outlined in our quotations. All quoted prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen circumstances arise that require additional time or resources.
- Payment Terms: Payment for services is generally due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
- Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee for invoices not paid within the agreed terms.
- Estimates: Verbal or written estimates are provided based on the information available at the time. The final cost may vary if the actual condition or size of the Property differs significantly from what was initially described.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a service.
- Notice Period: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling requests.
- Cancellation Fee: If a cancellation or rescheduling occurs with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee equivalent to a percentage of the quoted service price may be charged to cover our costs.
5. Equipment and Products
Unless otherwise agreed, ThistleGlow Services will provide all necessary cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning solutions required to perform the service effectively and safely.
- Client's Products: If a Client requests the use of specific cleaning products or equipment provided by them, ThistleGlow Services accepts no liability for any damage or unsatisfactory results arising from the use of such products or equipment.
6. Damages and Breakages
While our team exercises extreme care during all services, accidents can occasionally happen. We carry appropriate insurance to cover any accidental damage caused by our staff during the performance of their duties.
- Reporting Damage: Any damage must be reported to ThistleGlow Services within 24 hours of the service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence.
- Liability Limit: Our liability for damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, or a maximum amount as stipulated in our insurance policy, whichever is lower. We are not responsible for damage due to faulty installation, old or poorly maintained items, or items not secured in their place.
7. Client Responsibilities
- To provide a safe working environment for our team.
- To secure any valuables, fragile items, or personal documents prior to our arrival.
- To inform us of any specific instructions or areas that require particular attention or avoiding due to delicate surfaces.
- To ensure pets are secured or kept away from the cleaning areas for the safety of both the pets and our staff.
8. Unforeseen Circumstances
ThistleGlow Services shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, fire, flood, storm, or other natural disasters.
9. Complaints and Feedback
We strive for excellence in all our services. If you are not completely satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours of completion. We will endeavour to address your concerns and, if deemed necessary, arrange a re-clean of the disputed areas at our earliest convenience.
10. Confidentiality and Privacy
ThistleGlow Services respects your privacy. All information shared with us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We will not disclose any personal or property-related information to third parties without your express consent, except where required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
